Stainless Steel Nut Bolts (SS 304 / SS 316)
SS hex bolts, nuts, allen bolts, studs and washers in SS 304, SS 316 and SS 202 — for food, pharma, chemical, marine and outdoor applications where corrosion resistance matters.
About our stainless steel nut bolts range
We stock a full range of stainless steel fasteners in Mumbai: SS hex bolts (half and full thread), SS hex nuts and nylock nuts, SS allen bolts (socket head cap screws), CSK and button head screws, grub screws, studs and threaded rods, plain and spring washers, and dom nuts. Common sizes such as M6, M8, M10, M12 and M16 SS bolts are kept in ready stock in multiple lengths.
SS 304 (A2) suits most indoor and outdoor uses, food processing and pharma plants. SS 316 (A4) contains molybdenum and is the right choice near the sea, in chemical plants and anywhere chlorides are present. SS 202 is an economical option for light-duty and decorative work. Non-standard sizes and long SS bolts can be made to your drawing.
Common sizes we supply: M6, M8, M10, M12, M16 and M20 SS bolts — for example M8 x 25, M10 x 40, M12 x 50 and M16 x 75 — in SS 304 and SS 316, with matching SS nuts and washers.

Common questions
What is the difference between SS 304 and SS 316 bolts?
SS 316 contains about 2% molybdenum, which makes it far more resistant to chlorides — sea air, salt water and many chemicals. SS 304 is fine for most indoor, food and general outdoor use and costs less.
Are stainless steel bolts stronger than high-tensile bolts?
No. A2-70 stainless has a minimum tensile strength of about 700 MPa, lower than a grade 8.8 steel bolt. Choose stainless for corrosion resistance, not strength.
Why is my SS 304 bolt slightly magnetic?
SS 304 is non-magnetic when annealed, but cold forming the head and threads can make it slightly magnetic. This is normal and does not mean the bolt is not stainless.
Do you supply M12 SS bolts?
Yes. M12 SS 304 and SS 316 hex bolts, allen bolts, nuts and washers are kept in stock in common lengths.
